Dolphin gets new 3D contract

Dolphin Geophysical has been awarded a contract for 3D data acquisition and processing with an undisclosed client.

The company did not disclose the value of the contract, nor the location of the project.

According to its Tuesday filing on Oslo Stock Exchange, the work will be of 2-3 months duration and it will start in Q4 2015.

To remind, Dolphin was given a boost on Monday after agreeing to an early redelivery of the Polar Duke seismic vessel to GC Rieber Shipping, and improved terms on other vessels.

In addition, GC Rieber Shipping said it would grant Dolphin a rolling credit facility of $5 million, consisting of payments due to GC Rieber Shipping, while Sanco agreed to a $3.5 million loan.
