Enagas: increased use of LNG storage facilities

Enagás of Spain said that the use of the LNG storage facilities at its plants has grown significantly over this last quarter and has increased from an average monthly use of 40% in the previous year to 60% in the month of September 2014.


Furthermore, storage usage in several days in August reached 70% of capacity at the Enagás terminals, which is currently 13,500 GWh, the company said in a statement.

In accordance with the current unloading and loading programmes for tankers received from different customers, the level of storage in the tanks will continue to grow during the month of October and will reach usage of up to 80%, the company added.
