GEOS said on Friday that it won an extension for the Energy Swan platform supply vessel. According to the company, the contract is in direct continuation of the charter contract from 2013.

The Energy Swan was initially chartered for a firm period of four years plus a total of four years of options.

Wintershall and GEOS agreed on a three-month charter extension which would begin following the expiration of a firm period agreed to in April 2018.

The parties agreed that the vessel would remain firm on a charter with Wintershall until December 31, 2018. GEOS added that the charter rate reflected the market conditions.

The companies also agreed that the charterer has options to extend the vessel charter as per the original charter. The Energy Swan has charter options until November 30, 2021.
