Exclusive: OWS’ “Offshore Waddenzee” Vessel Christened

Just a few moments ago, Offshore Wind Services’ (OWS) vessel Offshore Waddenzee was christened at Damen Shipyards. 

The FCS 2008 is the second vessel ordered by the company from Damen this year. Damen Shipyards Den Helder in the Netherlands has outfitted the vessel with a second generator set and an offshore crane.

The vessel is going to be working alongside two other OWS vessels on the construction phase of the Luchterduinen Offshore Wind Farm for Van Oord.
