Work will be carried out by Argeo Venture and will occupy the vessel for the remainder of 2024.

Argeo did not reveal any other information about the contract, but did state it would provide more details at a later date.

“This contract affirms our capability to provide top-tier deep-water services and highlights our strong presence within the industry,” said Argeo CEO Trond Figenschou Crantz.

The project will commence directly after Argeo Venture completes the conversion upgrade in Norway. Argeo reported on March 25 that the project is progressing according to plan and that the 90-meter-long vessel had completed the first part of the sea trials after the upgrade the week before.

The next steps included the final part of the trials, with the Hugin Superior autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) sea trials before the vessel goes back to the yard for final touches with its departure from Norway in the first week of April.
