The LNG carrier named GasLog Georgetown was launched at the Korean yard on March 28, according to GasLog.

GasLog says the delivery of the newbuild is expected in October this year.

The vessel will be capable of transporting 180,000 cubic meters of LNG and will also feature WinGD’s low-pressure gas X-DF propulsion.

The X-DF engines are able to operate both on natural gas or diesel.

Monaco-based GasLog’s total fleet consists of 35 vessels, with 28 carriers on the water and seven LNG carriers on order.

This includes 15 LNG carriers in operation that are owned by its New York-listed unit GasLog Partners.
