‘GSP Pegasus’ leaves China for Romania

Romania’s GSP Offshore is about to expand it offshore fleet with a new Platform Supply Vessel.

The GSP Pegasus, built by Fujian Shipyard in China under a contract with MAC, set sail for its new home in Romania on Sunday, August 17.

The GSP Pegasus is equipped with a DNV class knuckle boom electro hydraulic crane manufactured by TTS, GPCFO 3200 – 20035, rated 100 tons, suitable for subsea services.

The crane is active heave compensated (AHC) and is designed to operate in extreme weather conditions, at ambient temperatures ranging between -20 and + 45°C.

The vessel is a part of the three-vessel order signed by GSP Offshore and MAC earlier this month.
