Hyundai Heavy Sends Donation for Disaster Relief Efforts in Japan

 

Hyundai Heavy Industries group is giving ¥50 million via its Japanese branch office to the Japanese Red Cross for disaster relief efforts in Japan today.

Hyundai Heavy said, “We hope this donation would be of help for Japanese people. We do also hope that Japanese people would recover its damage as soon as possible”

On March 14, Mr. Lee Jai-seong, president & CEO of Hyundai Heavy Industries sent letters to Japanese shipowners and steel mills saying “I, on behalf of all Hyundai Heavy employees, convey our deepest sympathy to Japanese people, and do believe in Japanese people’s power and strength to recover damages soon”
