India’s GSPC seeks October LNG cargo

India’s Gujarat State Petroleum Corp. has reportedly launched a tender to purchase a single cargo of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

GSPC is seeking a liquefied natural gas cargo for delivery in October, Reuters reported on Wednesday citing trade sources.

According to the news agency, the tender closed on August 13, with offers to remain valid until August 14.

GSPC owns a stake in the 5 mtpa Mundra LNG facility developed jointly with the Adani Group.

The facility consists of two LNG storage tanks of 160,000 cubic meters each and LNG jetty capable of receiving the LNG vessels of sizes ranging from 75,000 to 260,000 cubic meters. The terminal also has a facility for LNG truck loading.
