Island Offshore Sells Well Stimulation Vessel

Norwegian vessel owner, Island Offshore, has sold and delivered the M/V Island Patriot to an undisclosed buyer, the company informed on Thursday.

The well stimulation vessel joined Island Offshore’s fleet in 2005.

The company did not disclose the commercial terms between the parties, but stated that the vessel will still be operated by Island Offshore Management.

The 86.2 meters long M/V Island Patriot was built by the Norwegian shipbuilder and designer Ulstein. It was equipped for transporting and handling liquid cargo and chemicals for use in well stimulation operations.
