Iver Ships to Sell Tanker Pair

Dutch shipping company Iver Ships, part of Vroon, has decided to dispose of Iver Example and Iver Express, its MR2 tankers, VesselsValue’s data shows.

Iver Ships entered into sub-sale agreements with an undisclosed buyer on April 27.

The sub-sale agreement for Iver Example is expected to be finalized in June and for Iver Express in July this year.

Once the sale is completed, the 46,800 dwt ships will be sold for USD 15.6 million each.

BuiltĀ at South Korean Hyundai Mipo shipyard in 2007, each of the two 52,900 cbm chemical/product tankers features a length of 183 meters and a width of 32 meters.

Following the sale, Iver Ship’s fleet will comprise 14 asphalt/bitumen tankers and 9 product/chemical tankers, according to the company’s data.
