KrisEnergy submits development plan for Lengo gas field

Keith Cameron, KrisEnergy CEO, has said that the POD for the Lengo gas field offshore East Java was submitted to the Indonesian authorities in July 2014.

The Lengo gas discovery is located in the KrisEnergy-operated Bulu production sharing contract (“PSC”).

In his report to shareholders, Cameron also revealed that KrisEnergy had secured a memorandum of understanding with a potential off-taker for Lengo gas sales.

“These events mark a considerable advance in the commercialisation of Lengo gas and in our gas aggregation plans in the East Java Sea, which include the nearby East Muriah and Sakti PSCs,” Cameron said.

The Lengo development concept includes an unmanned wellhead platform with four to five wells located at Lengo with a possible single well tie-back from the East Lengo gas discovery, 15 km away in the adjacent East Muriah PSC.

First gas production from the development is scheduled for the second half of 2016 with gas export to market via a 65-km pipeline directly to shore.
