LTHE, which has won the contracts in a consortium with Emas AMC, said the jackets would be delivered for Marjan, Sfaniya, and Ribyan offshore fields.

As for the value of the contract, LTHE said the contract was “large.” L&T defines a Large contract as being between INR 2500 Crore and INR 5000 Crore. Converted to U.S. dollars, the amount is between $348 million and $695,8 million.

To remind, Saudi Aramco in July said it had awarded $18 billion worth of contracts for the engineering, procurement, and construction to boost production from the Marjan and Berri offshore fields to 34 contractors.

Saudi Aramco plans to boost production capacity by 550,000 barrels per day of Arabian Crude Oil and 2.5 BSCFD of gas from Marjan and Berri offshore oilfields.
