Petrobras awarded the contract for the 142-meter-long PLSV Skandi Vitória that includes a three-year firm plus option, commencing in 2025, worth between $200 million and $300 million.

The vessel is Brazilian-built and flagged and owned by DOFCON Navegação Ltda., a joint venture of DOF Subsea (50%) and TechnipFMC (50%).

Mons S. Aase, CEO of DOF Group, said: “We are pleased to announce this award under the ongoing PLSV tender and continue the discussion with Petrobras on the ongoing PLSV tender.”

The 2010-built vessel was also previously working for Petrobras, under a three-year contract won in August 2021.

The two companies signed three new service contracts worth more than $260 million in September 2023 under which DOF is in charge of providing survey and inspection work to Petrobras.

Most recently, DOF won multiple contracts with the Brazilian company that are expected to generate revenue beyond $192 million.
