More Barents Sea work for EMGS

Electromagnetic Geoservices ASA (EMGS) has received another signed contract from a repeat customer worth NOK 10 million (USD 1.7 million) for 3D EM data acquisition in the Barents Sea.

To remind, the company signed a similar contract last week.

The survey will be done in June, using the vessel BOA Thalassa.

The seabed logging vessel, owned by Boa Offshore, is of the MT 6007 design, and is used to detect hydrocarbons beneath the seabed. The ship’s length overall is 80,35 m with a beam of 16,40m.
