Neon names new non-exec. Director resigns

Neon Energy has announced the appointment of Ross Williams as a Non-Executive Director and the resignation of its director Ken Charsinsky.

Williams is a founding shareholder of MACA Limited and up until July 2014 held the position of CFO and Finance Director with responsibility for capital management, finance, financial reporting and corporate strategy. Williams is a Non-Executive Director of Emerald Oil & Gas NL, having previously held the position of Chairman during its Board transition in 2014.

Williams holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Services Management from Macquarie University.

Neon Energy also confirmed the resignation of Ken Charsinsky as a director of Neon Energy with immediate effect.

Furthermore, Neon says that the board is presently in discussions with various parties about Neon withdrawing from its involvement in Block WA 503-P, offshore Australia. The seismic contract with CGG Services SA has been terminated by a cash settlement between the parties. According to Neon, the content of these discussions are confidential and presently incomplete.
