Neptune names Middle East regional head

Australian subsea services provider Neptune has appointed a new Regional Manager for the Middle East.

Neptune said on Thursday that Frank Crighton would be the company’s Middle East regional head and that he joins the company with 20 years of industry experience.

The company added Crighton has a background in remote operated vehicles (ROVs) technologies, subsea operations, and marine and vessel management.

According to Crighton’s LinkedIn profile, his previous appointment was with Subsea 7 as technical manager. He was in charge of remote intervention technology (RIT) input and assistance for all Australasian projects. He was also an ROV systems auditor for the the company.

The newly appointed role, based in Bahrain, is focused on client support and business development activities in the Gulf region. Crighton will be in charge of promoting Neptune’s services including ROV, survey, and stabilization to new and existing clients.

Robin King, CEO of Neptune Marine Services said: “While Neptune is already performing work and has ROV and stabilization equipment in the Middle East, Frank’s appointment will further strengthen the relationships Neptune has in the region and provide a permanent presence for our ongoing work commitments.”
