New CFO for Archer

Archer, an oilfield services company, has announced the appointment of Dag Skindlo as its new Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President Strategy, effective May 1, 2016.

Dag Skindlo will replace Christoph Bausch, who has been the Executive Vice President and CFO in Archer since May 2011.

Archer said that Bausch has decided to leave the company in order to pursue other interests.

“We are very pleased to welcome Dag to our team. I am confident that Dag will contribute greatly to solve the challenges of our company,” commented David King, Chief Executive Officer of Archer.

“I would also like to thank Christoph for his contribution to Archer over the past five years and wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

According to Archer, Skindlo joined Schlumberger in 1992 where he held various financial and operational positions before he joined the Aker Group of companies in 2005. His experience from Aker Kvaerner, Aker Solutions and Kvaerner includes both global CFO roles and Managing Director roles for several large industrial business divisions, the company said. He comes from his role as CEO for Aquamarine Subsea, a HitecVision owned company.
