The Aberdeen-based W2W Solutions has been formed to help optimise offshore campaigns by supplying and managing additional personnel on board (POB) capacity offshore to assist with liquidating maintenance backlogs, discrete projects, TARs and decommissioning projects.

Martyn Garvie, Business Development Director, W2W Solutions, commented:  “We are delighted to launch our new offering that will give truly independent advice and support to operators and asset owners alike. The sectors we operate in continue to transition to a more collaborative way of working and we believe our model and processes will help ensure our clients achieve optimised offshore campaigns.”

Based on the newly launched provider’s statement, it is independent of any asset owner, providing tailored solutions based on campaign requirements, including a full suite of walk-to-work project management services from project inception to project close-out. This entails project management, engineering solutions, marine specialists, logistics management, offshore project execution, W2W vessel and gangway selection and W2W process and procedures.

In addition, the firm offers an assurance service to clients who already have their walk-to-work teams to ensure their offshore walk-to-work campaigns are “truly optimised.”

“Our key focus is to help operators with whatever offshore POB challenges they may have. With our track record, processes and impartial expertise, we can help our clients achieve their campaign goals – whether we provide our full suite of project management services or we work with existing W2W teams, we offer our expertise flexibly to provide the best solution possible,” added Garvie.

Furthermore, W2W Solutions has developed its own bespoke platform to support clients in W2W campaigns and the ADD platform – which stands for Appraise, Design, Deliver – is utilised from project inception to close-out. The company’s team of 12 consists of marine specialists, engineering professionals, project managers and logistics specialists who have worked on numerous walk-to-work projects in the North Sea since 2011.

Keith Nelson, CEO, Interocean Marine Services Ltd, remarked: “The service this collaboration provides will bring huge efficiencies to maintenance campaigns allowing clients to optimise budgets and ensure there are no unnecessary cost overruns. We are delighted to launch this new partnership and bring a niche service to the offshore and marine sectors.”
