Oceaneering UK was contracted by AOC as the lead contractor to deliver the Anasuria 2018 Teal P2 scale squeeze project, located approximately 190 km east of Aberdeen.

The Anasuria Cluster consists of the Teal, Teal South, Guillemot and Cook fields which produce through the Anasuria Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading vessel.

The purpose of a scale squeeze operation is to dissolve and remove unwanted scale build-up inside the production tubing in a subsea well to increase the oil recovery rate.

Oceaneering chartered the Normand Mermaid and utilized multiple integrated services, which included Oceaneering Millenium WROV systems, Oceaneering offshore communications, Oceaneering ROV tooling and Oceaneering survey to complete the work.

The well has seen an initial increase of 7000bbls of liquid a day.
