Peak’s investment in its Aberdeen Technology Centre also provides much-needed space required for the company’s growing engineering teams with development test capabilities for new product innovation and larger improved facilities for the growing rental business which ensures rapid mobilisation of advanced well intervention equipment.

Peak’s Aberdeen Technology Centre accommodates regional Technical Sales for North Sea, Continental Europe and West Africa customers, as well as a large assembly and testing workshop and yard. In addition to product sales, Peak carries a large rental inventory of fishing and premium utility toolstring products, along with SIM plugs and straddles for which it is world renowned.
Graeme Copland, Regional Sales Manager at Peak Well Systems, commented: “Our new Aberdeen Technology Centre is a dynamic development for Peak in the North Sea, and highlights the expanding market share which our products are achieving amongst both operators and service companies.”

“Peak’s Rentals business has seen rapid growth in the last 12 months with customers who recognise that Peak products can improve well performance whilst reducing well operating costs. Our rentals offer an ideal solution for well intervention work because they can be mobilized to the customer within 24hrs, reducing NPT and enabling Operators to return to production quickly.”

The opening of the Aberdeen Technology Centre coincides with the upcoming market launch of Peak’s ISO-14310 V3-rated SIM+ Plug Systems, a range of high performance Flow Control technologies which are, according to Peak, ideally suited to the demands of North Sea wells.
