Petrobras Starts P-55 Platform Operations at Roncador Field

With the capacity to produce 180,000 barrels of oil and treat 4 million cubic meters of gas per day, the facility is one of the biggest platforms of this type in the world.The platform is connected to 17 wells. Water depth at the site is 1,800 meters.

With 52 000 tonnes , 10 000 m² , P -55 is the largest semi-submersible platform built in Brazil and one of the largest of its kind in the world .
