PHOTO: DSCV Lichtenstein returns to Singapore ahead of Gulf of Mexico gig
Diving support and construction vessel (DSCV) Lichtenstein, owned by Singapore-based Ultra Deep Solutions, has returned to Singapore, ahead of its long-term contract in the Gulf of Mexico.
According to available info, prior to arriving back to Singapore, the vessel had finished a contract with an unnamed client in the Middle East.
Ultra Deep informed through its social media channels on Thursday that the vessel will now load onboard two WROVs and head straight over to the Gulf of Mexico region in South America, Caribbean area, for the long term contract.
Offshore Energy Today reported on the vessel’s contract win in late December 2017. The charter contract is for three years plus multiple one-year options.
The Lichtenstein is an MT Norwegian design and built to DNV-GL. The vessel comes with Twin Bell 18 men saturation system 300 msw and Twin 18 men SPHLs. It has a 140 t AHC crane to 3000 msw. The 1300 m2 main deck has ample room for flexible reel laying.
