Golden Pass LNG, a joint venture between Qatar Petroleum and Exxon Mobil, operates a liquefied natural gas import terminal in Sabine Pass, Texas.

The existing Golden Pass facility, located on the Sabine-Neches Waterway, includes five LNG storage tanks, two berths and a 69-mile pipeline system with nine interconnects to intrastate and interstate pipelines.

Golden Pass is also proposing to add export capabilities to its LNG import terminal in Sabine Pass.

Proposed facilities include three liquefaction process trains, each with a nominal throughput of 5.2 million metric tons per annum (MTA), associated treatment, power and utility systems, and interconnections to existing import facilities and controls.
