The deal is for the installation of the additional submerged combustion vaporizers (SCV) that would boost the current regasification capacity of the LNG terminal by 50 percent.

Gas-System noted in its statement that the scope of work includes the installation design and assembly of the LNG regasifier and cryogenic pumps.

The new deal is part of the ongoing process to expand the regasification capacity at the Polish LNG terminal.

To remind, the terminal expansion project, in addition to the capacity increase, includes the third LNG storage tank with 180,000-cbm capacity, LNG-to-rail transshipment facility, extending the scope of services provided by the LNG terminal to include the option of loading LNG onto ISO containers and tank wagons to reach new potential customers.

It also includes an additional jetty allowing for loading and unloading LNG carriers, transshipment of LNG and loading LNG to bunkering vessels and rendering bunkering services.
