PSA Norway audits Skarv FPSO loading system. All good.
The objective of the audit was to verify the operator’s organisation and division of responsibilities for the loading system, loading operations and shuttle tankers, and applicable governing documents, as well as the risk assessments used as a basis for the system design, maintenance management system, follow-up of shuttle tankers and experience transfer.

No non-conformities were identified.

Two improvement points were identified in connection with risk in the loading system and classification, and maintenance management.

The Skarv field is located approximately 210 kilometres west of the Norwegian coast in water depths of approximately 350-450 metres. Discovered in 1998, the field has an estimated ultimate recovery of around 100 million barrels of oil and condensate and over 1.5 trillion cubic feet of rich gas.
