According to Reach, the contract secures work for a period of 3 months with extension options for another 2 months. Reach itself chartered the Olympic Challenger back in April, on a two-year deal, saying the vessel would be used on projects within IMR and light construction within the oil & gas and renewables sectors.

Olympic Challenger is currently employed on spot contracts lasting to the end of June, and will in direct continuation mobilize for this new 3-5 month contract, the company said.

Reach Subsea has also signed a contract for Edda Fonn, which starts immediately and last for 25 days. The client has an option to extend the contract by another 25 days.

The company did not disclose the financial value of the contracts, nor the identity of the clients.
