Regen SW, Engine Shed team up for Bristol renewables

Regen SW and Engine Shed have formed a partnership to support the renewable energy sector in Bristol.

The collaboration will allow Regen SW member companies free access to the Engine Shed Business Lounge, Regen SW informed.

The agreement aims to support the rapid development of the low carbon sector in Bristol.

It will provide Regen SW members with a meeting space to facilitate collaboration and networking with academics, high-tech, creative and low carbon entrepreneurs and innovators, business leaders, policy makers and professionals, Regen SW’s press release reads.

Merlin Hyman, Chief Executive of Regen SW, said: “With over 13,000 jobs in renewable energy and £3 billion invested in projects, the south west is a leader in the transition to a clean energy system. The new partnership with the Engine Shed will enable member companies to build on that success through collaboration and networking with fellow entrepreneurs and innovators, business leaders, academics and professionals.”

Regen SW is a non-profit company working to enable business, local authorities and other organisations to deliver renewable energy and energy efficiency and build a prosperous low-carbon economy in the South West of England.

Engine Shed is a collaboration between Bristol City Council, the University of Bristol and the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership at the heart of Temple Quarter Enterprise Zone.
