Save the date: Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner and Awards Show 2017

The second edition of the Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner and Awards show will take place on October 9, 2017, at a new and beautiful location: the National Maritime Museum (het Scheepvaartmuseum) in Amsterdam.

This black-tie event is held the night before Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference will take place on October 10 and 11, 2017.

The Offshore Energy Opening Gala Dinner and Awards show brings the industry together to celebrate successes by presenting three industry awards: Offshore Energy Young Engineer Award, Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award, Best Innovation in Offshore Energy Award and this year another industry award will be added to the list.

Despite challenging times in the industry, there are impressive achievements and innovations that require celebration. Nominees gain broad international recognition and significant market visibility through global media coverage. An expert jury will carefully evaluate all submissions and determine three final nominees per award.

2016 edition

Last year Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference (OEEC) kicked-off the very first edition of the Offshore Energy Opening.

Three awards were presented to the more than 300 guests in the prestigious Beurs van Berlage, Amsterdam. The guests received a word of welcome by Coert van Zijll Langhout, Managing Director Navingo BV and Pieter van Oord, Chairman IRO/ CEO Van Oord followed up by the official opening by Jan Willem van Hoogstraten, CEO EBN.

The Offshore Energy Award winners of 2016 were: Offshore Energy Young Engineer Award: Ms. Alexia Aubault from Principle Power; Offshore Energy Public Outreach Award: the Maritime Museum with the Offshore Experience and Best Innovation in Offshore Energy Award: INTECSEA and Innospection with FlexIQ.
