The company announced it has entered into an agreement with an undisclosed shipyard for the construction of the ships with deliveries planned for the first and second quarters of 2024.

Furthermore, all vessels will be scrubber-fitted and will enter long-term charters with unnamed global liner upon deliveries, according to Seaspan.

Last week, the company signed the agreement for the construction of two new 12,000 TEU containerships, scheduled for delivery during the fourth quarter of 2022.
