Siem Offshore Wins Charter Deal for Its MRSV

Norway’s Siem Offshore, an owner and operator of offshore support vessels, has signed a charter contract with Mariner Platforms Limited for its Multipurpose field & ROV Support Vessel “Siem Marlin”.

The 93.60 m long vessel, built in 2009, will begin its one-year firm contract this month. Financial details were not disclosed.

The Siem Marlin is a diesel electric driven vessel with low fuel consumption for reduced emission to the environment. It is designed to meet the general off shore supply market and with its 100 T heave compensated offshore crane, it is specially designed for ROV and light Construction duties.
