Norwegian offshore vessel owner Solstad Offshore has signed contract extensions for two platform supply vessels (PSVs) with Equinor in Brazil.

Solstad said on Friday that the contract extensions were awarded to the Far Scotsman and Sea Brasil vessels.

The contract for Far Scotsman is extended by two years, while Sea Brasil is extended by one year, both in direct continuation of present contracts.

The vessels will continue to support production activities at the Peregrino field in Campos Basin, offshore Brazil.

The contract for the 2012-built Far Scotsman vessel was previously extended by three months back in August 2019.

It has been an active week for the Norwegian offshore vessel owner. Namely, the company has won a contract extension for its 56 percent-owned Normand Tonjer vessel and awarded several contracts in the Middle East and Mediterranean.
