Solstad Offshore said on Thursday that it had sold the 16-year-old platform supplier to an undisclosed buyer.

The company added that the vessel in question was the Lady Melinda PSV, which was delivered to its new owner on May 23, 2019.

Solstad added that the sale of the vessel would result in an immaterial accounting effect for the second quarter of 2019.

As for the vessel, it was built and delivered in 2003 by Vard Brevik in Norway. According to data from VesselsValue, the Lady Melinda has been in lay-up since January 2016.
