Solstad Offshore revealed on Monday that Equinor in Brazil has awarded the PSVs Sea Brasil and Far Scotsman new long-term contracts. Both vessels are contracted for two years with the beginning set for December 2021 and June 2022, respectively, both in direct continuation of present contracts.

Namely, Equinor previously extended the contracts for these two 2012-built vessels back in August 2020. The contracts for Sea Brasil and Far Scotsman were extended by one year until December 2021 and six months until May 2022, respectively.

According to Solstad, the new contracts also cover extensions for two yearly options for Sea Brasil and one yearly option for Far Scotsman. Both vessels will be supporting Equinor activities in Brazil.
