South Hook awaits Al Sadd LNG carrier arrival

The Al Sadd LNG carrier, with a capacity of 210,000 cubic metres, is due to arrive in the UK’s South Hook terminal from Qatar on September 16, port data reveals.

The South Hook LNG terminal, a part of the Qatargas 2 integrated value chain, is one of the largest LNG re-gasification terminals in Europe and provides the UK with a significant proportion of its natural gas requirements.

South Hook LNG is comprised of three strong partners: Qatar Petroleum International, ExxonMobil and Total.
