South Korea’s KOMIPO launches LNG cargo tender

Korea Midland Power (KOMIPO), the South Korean power company launched an international tender to purchase one cargo of liquefied natural gas.

KOMIPO is seeking a 2.20-2.33 TBtu LNG cargo on DES basis for delivery between August 26-28, according to a notice on the utility’s website.

The deadline for bid submissions has been set to July 27 at 2 p.m. Singapore standard time.

KOMIPO is a unit of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO). The parent company is in turn owned by the Korean government.
