Statoil evacuates workers from Hammerfest LNG terminal

Norway’s Statoil has reportedly evacuated some personnel from its Hammerfest LNG facility on Melkoya. 

According to Reuters, the company said the production was not affected and continued normally.

Statoil’s Hammerfest LNG facility is Europe’s biggest liquefaction plant and uses gas from the Snohvit development in the Barents Sea.
