SubseaPartner in Goliat mooring repair gig

Norwegian manned underwater ops company SubseaPartner has been awarded a contract for offshore oilfield work in the Barents Sea.

The company on Monday said it had been awarded a contract by Vår Energi in relation to mooring repair operations aboard the Goliat FPSO in the Barents Sea offshore Norway.

SubseaPartner said the project work scope includes a 24-hour air diving operation on the FPSO’s fairleads.

Project management and engineering work has already started from the SubseaPartner headquarters in Haugesund.

According to SubseaPartner the Light Diving Craft LDC Venturer has been selected for the operation. The offshore activities are scheduled to take place during the summer of 2019.

The company did not provide financial details of the contract.
