Tap Oil names new CFO

Australia’s oil and gas exploration and production company Tap Oil has announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), David Rich, is leaving the company and that a new CFO and Company Secretary has been named.

Tap Oil said on Thursday that Chris Bath was named the as new company’s CFO and Company Secretary.

The company noted that Bath has experience in the energy and resource sectors in Australia and Asia, as both a CFO and Company Secretary, having previously worked in this joint role at other ASX listed companies including Oilex and Buru Energy.

Tap added that Bath also has experience when dealing in debt and equity markets, joint venture management and project and transaction structuring.

Bath holds a Bachelor of Business from Edith Cowan University, Australia, and is a Chartered Accountant.

The company also stated that Michele Ryan, the General Counsel and Company Secretary, and David Rich, former CFO, are leaving the company effective June 30, 2016.
