The applications for the program’s eight request for technical support (RTF) will now be accepted until November 4, 2022, as the deadline has been extended for almost one month.

According to TEAMER, this was done to accommodate an informational webinar set to take place on October 4.

“In the webinar, we plan to discuss the recent updates to the TEAMER RFTS Application and Evaluation criteria to help applicants and facilities better understand the process and increase the acceptance rate,” the TEAMER program informed.

More details on the webinar will be coming soon, TEAMER program said.

Directed by the Pacific Ocean Energy Trust, TEAMER accelerates the viability of marine renewables by providing access to the best facilities and expertise in the United States to solve critical challenges, build knowledge, foster innovation, and drive commercialization.

Application for the RFTS 7 ended in July this year, following the selection of six marine energy projects for technical support as part of TEAMER’s sixth call for applications.
