1. Total Breaks Off $250 Mln Contract for Skandi Aker
Aker Solutions’ subsidiary Aker Oilfield Services was notified by Total in Angola of the termination of a USD 250 million, two-year contract for the Skandi Aker vessel.
2. VIDEO: New Subsea 7 HCV ‘Seven Arctic’
Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in South Korea is currently constructing a new vessel for London based subsea engineering, construction and services company, Subsea 7.
3. Maersk Drilling Orders BOP and Riser Systems from GE
GE Oil & Gas announced it has received an order for the 20,000-psi (20-ksi) rated deepwater blowout preventer (BOP) stack and riser systems from Copenhagen, Denmark-based Maersk Drilling.
4. Denmark: Technip Bags Two Contracts from Maersk Oil
Technip has been awarded two contracts by Maersk Oil for the Valdemar & Roar Gas Lift project as well as the Rolf Replacement Pipeline project, located on the Danish Continental Shelf, approximately 250 kilometers offshore Esbjerg, Denmark.
5. Nautilus: SMD Starts Auxiliary Cutter Assembly
Nautilus Minerals Inc. has announced that the assembly of its third and final Seafloor Production Tool (SPT), the Auxiliary Cutter (AC), has this week begun at Soil Machine Dynamics’ (SMD) facility at Newcastle upon Tyne, UK.
