Golden Energy Offshore’s latest short-term contracts have been secured for the PSV Energy Partner and the PSV Energy Swan. While no further details about these assignments have been revealed, the vessel owner did explain that these deals are with “first class international charterers.”

The 2005-built Energy Swan is a large PSV/pipe carrier of an ST 216 design and can accommodate 28 people. Previously, the vessel worked for Wintershall Norge, a Norwegian unit of Wintershall Dea, and Repsol Norge, a subsidiary of Spain’s Repsol. On the other hand, the 2016-built PSV Energy Partner is of Ulstein PX121 H design

The two latest contract awards come months after the company won deals for the PSV Energy Passion and the PSV Energy Paradise in the North Sea. Golden Energy Offshore recently took steps to expand its fleet of offshore supply vessels.

To this end, the firm set the wheels in motion to acquire four PSVs and one safety and standby vessel (SSV) from subsidiaries of the Netherlands’ Vroon Holding for a total consideration of $94 million.
