U.S. offshore rig count drops to 19 units

The number of U.S. offshore rigs fell by one unit this past week, according to a Friday weekly rig report by Baker Hughes, a GE company.


Baker Hughes Rig Count: U.S. -1 to 930 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 930, with oil rigs down 4 to 747, gas rigs up 3 to 183, and miscellaneous rigs unchanged.

U.S. Rig Count is up 293 rigs from last year’s count of 637, with oil rigs up 237, gas rigs up 57, and miscellaneous rigs down 1 to 1.

The U.S. Offshore Rig Count is down 1 rig from last week to 19 and down 3 rigs year-over-year.

Baker Hughes Rig Count: Canada +19 to 238 rigs

 

Canada Rig Count is up 19 rigs from last week to 238, with oil rigs up 22 to 134 and gas rigs down 3 to 104.

Canada Rig Count is up 4 rigs from last year’s count of 234, with oil rigs up 18, gas rigs down 12, and miscellaneous rigs down 2 to 0.
