USA: Halliburton Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Halliburton announced that Jeff Miller has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Reporting to Dave Lesar, Halliburton’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, Miller will be responsible for the Company’s global operations, as well as business development and marketing.

“As we continue to target our energy toward the successful execution of our business strategy, it’s time to shift day-to-day operations to Jeff so I can further focus on the long-term growth and advancement of the Company,” Lesar commented. “Jeff is a proven leader with tremendous global and operational breadth, and I personally welcome his addition to the senior management team.”

Miller has held a number of positions at Halliburton, including most recently as Senior Vice President of Global Business Development and Marketing, responsible for strategic account management, sales and marketing. He has also served as Senior Vice President of Halliburton’s Gulf of Mexico Region, Vice President of the Company’s Baroid business line, Country Vice President for Indonesia, and Country Vice President for Angola.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture and business from McNeese State University, and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University. Miller is a certified public accountant and a member of the Texas A&M University Look College of Engineering Advisory Board.
