Wipro awarded IT infrastructure deal from Woodside

India’s information technology and business process services company Wipro won a three-year IT infrastructure services and digital transformation contract from Australian LNG player Woodside.

Under the contract Wipro will provide managed services for IT Infrastructure across Woodside’s global portfolio, with a focus on the larger sites of Perth and Karratha in Australia.

The engagement includes delivering infrastructure services to offshore maritime facilities and potential exploration sites, Wipro said in its statement.

Wipro will also support Woodside with the digital transformation of its upstream operations.

Woodside’s producing assets in Australia, among others, include the North West Shelf project and the Pluto LNG plant.
