Xodus Gets New Environmental Impact Assessment Manager

Business & Finance

Xodus Group has appointed Eric Houston as its environmental impact assessment (EIA) manager.

Houston joins Xodus from Intertek where he was responsible for the delivery of EIAs and marine consents, primarily in the marine cables sector.

He will be based in the company’s Edinburgh office, Xodus noted.

Eric Houston said: “I’ve been aware of Xodus’ capabilities throughout my career and know the strengths of the team. As someone who has developed my career in marine environmental consultancy, I’m looking forward to working with many talented people within the company.

“Hopefully I can strengthen and broaden the company’s knowledge and experience of the energy value chain, from supply to demand.”

Houston has a degree in marine biology and has multi-sector experience in environmental auditing and due diligence. He has also co-ordinated and managed ISO14001 implementation.
