Zeebrugge set to re-export LNG cargo

Awilco LNG’s WilForce carrier is scheduled to arrive at Belgium’s Zeebrugge terminal from Sagunto in Spain on August 24.

The 156,000 cbm vessel will load a cargo of previously imported LNG and depart from the Zeebrugge terminal on August 26, port data shows.

The final destination of the LNG cargo is currently unknown.

Re-exportation of LNG lets marketers and suppliers store the fuel, while waiting for price signals before delivering their chilled gas to the higher-paying markets.
