Carnival pay rules challenged

15,000 may be owed overtime, suit contends. Carnival Cruise Lines failed to pay overtime to as many as 15,000 cruise ship workers, a lawsuit filed in federal court in Miami alleges. The suit was filed on behalf of a half-dozen waiters, cabin attendants and kitchen employees on various Carnival ships

15,000 may be owed overtime, suit contends. Carnival Cruise Lines failed to pay overtime to as many as 15,000 cruise ship workers, a lawsuit filed in federal court in Miami alleges. The suit was filed on behalf of a half-dozen waiters, cabin attendants and kitchen employees on various Carnival ships. It contends that they worked more than 70 hours a week and were not paid overtime as specified in an employment agreement
