Beach replenishment continues to dredge on along the shores of Rehoboth Beach and barring any unforeseen mishaps, crews plan to have the project completed this weekend.

City Manager Greg Ferrese said Friday that Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Co. is making great progress and they have made it out of the most congested beach area. The city started around Rehoboth Avenue so that popular stretch of beach would be finished well before the Fourth of July holiday.
