After 12 years of effort, the Iowa Department of Natural Resources expects to begin work on dredging Crystal Lake in the fall of this year. The estimated cost of the project is $3 million. “It’s been a long time coming but it’s going to be worth it,” said community organizer Bruce Kluver of Crystal Lake.
